Usage Management Method

Fountain pens are also called customized writing instruments because the nib adapts to the user's writing pressure and habits as they are used, allowing them to express their own handwriting well. Since ink flows out naturally without applying force, it is possible to write comfortably, so it is more effective to use a fountain pen when learning to write for the first time.

Fountain pen ink filling method

There are three different ink refilling methods used in Lamy fountain pens, as follows:

  • 2. Converter method

This is a method of using an ink cartridge inside a fountain pen. The refillable Lamy T10 ink cartridge is easy to install and replace, and is easy to carry around when traveling or on business trips, making it very convenient to use.

  • A(anfanger = beginner)

  • C(cursive)

Cursive nib. This is a cursive nib developed specifically for writing Chinese characters in cursive script. The thickness is between that of an EF and F nib, and the upper surface of the nib has the Chinese character "漢" laser engraved on it. The unique design of the cursive nib, which is slimly cut in a V shape, helps with flexible writing, adding to the fun of writing.

How to Use and Care for a Fountain Pen

  • · When using a fountain pen, tilt the nib at a 45-55 degree angle so that the top of the nib faces the sky.
    · Be sure to close the cap after use. This minimizes ink evaporation and prevents leakage.

    · When carrying a fountain pen in clothing or a bag, place it in the pen case with the nib facing upward and store it vertically to prevent sudden ink leakage. ·
When in high temperatures or on an airplane, the internal air may expand due to pressure differences, which may change the flow of ink. When boarding an airplane, be careful when removing the cartridge or converter or using it.

    · When washing in hot water, it may damage the pen parts, so please wash it using lukewarm clean water.
    · Washing with a converter is useful for washing even the ink accumulated inside. Please refer to the video in the 'Maintenance Method' menu for washing instructions.
